- 1 cup tomato paste (240g / 8.5 oz)c
- ¼ cup apple cider vinegar or white / red wine vinegar
- 1 small onion (60g / 2.1 oz)
- 2 cloves garlic
- ⅛ tsp ground allspice
- ⅛ tsp ground cloves
- 2 tbsp or to taste of Erythritol (20g / 0.7 oz)
- 1 tsp salt
- pinch black pepper ( I like fresh ground)
- If it’s too thick add water by the tablespoon until its just right
Directions:
- Peel and cut the onion and garlic in smaller pieces. Have all the other ingredients on hand ready to be used. You can use any vinegar you like such as apple cider or white / red wine vinegar.
- Place everything in a blender or use an immersion blender and pulse until smooth.
- Pour into a saucepan over medium heat until you start to see small bubbles. Reduce to low and stir constantly for ten minutes.
