Ingredients
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 1/2 lbs stewing beef lean, cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 1 tsp salt or to taste
  • 1 tsp pepper or to taste
  • 2 large onions roughly chopped
  • 5 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 tbsp sweet paprika
  • 1 tsp caraway seeds ground
  • 1 tsp oregano dried
  • 3 bay leaves
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 4 cups beef broth no salt added
  • 2 tbsp parsley chopped, for garnish
