This sugar-free, low-carb, dairy-free orange sorbet recipe is easy to make using coconut milk and orange-flavored Powerade Zero or water.
Ingredients
- 2 cups Powerade Zero Orange Rise (or water)
- 1 1/2 cups sugar-free coconut milk (or another non-dairy milk like soy or almond)
- 1 tablespoon zest (orange)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice (fresh)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon liquid stevia (or flavored liquid stevia, or your favorite sugar-free sweetener)
Instructions
- Gather the ingredients.
- Place Powerade, coconut milk, orange zest, lemon juice, salt, vanilla, and stevia into a blender and process until combined.
- Place in fridge for 1 hour until cold and chilled.
- Pour mixture into an ice cream machine and follow the manufacturer's instructions.
- Soft serve consistency should take 15 to 20 minutes. If you prefer, you can place the churned sorbet in the freezer for 3 hours for it to harden a bit more.
- Freeze in a covered airtight container.
